Selling cuban cigars belongs to one of these professions everybody dreams of. Surrounded by great blue smoke and lots of pretty women we enjoy life at its best. Tasting cuban cigars is one part of our profession and every now and then we receive cigars that are just something else - magic moments. Now let me tell you what happened to us last friday night after a splendid dinner with a famous (and very funny) German collector. To finish the week we ended up in Hamburgs most fascinating "boutique" Hotel Abtei. Shortly after we found ourselfes surrounded by some truely exceptional Bordeaux which we had to sample. After these wines we decided to ask a very charming lady from the table next to us if she would mind if we enjoy a good cigar. She told us to go ahead with our cuban smokes as she enjoys the good smell - and so we started this weeks last cigar tasting. Minutes later the gordeous lady came to our table asking what cigar we were smoking - she was overwhelmed by its fine and delicate perfume - and it made her walk over. (in fact that never happend to me during the last 12 years). Her husband (yap, he was there as well) did not say a word but the next moring both showed up to buy some boxes of them. Maybe he purchased them to make sure she stays at his table next time - but however - what a great smoke that was.
