A great rum from Demerara Distillers in Guayana. Matured in oak barrels for over 15 years it is of deep amber colour. The nose shows hints of honey, some smooth oak and is rich and very complex. The taste reminds us of dark chocolat, coffee, very well balanced oak and a little dash of salt. A heavy rum, very “mouth filling” and after a strong first impression it remains on your palate for loooong time – with a rich and very smooth aftertaste. An exceptional rum of first grade.
