A fantastic rum from Destilerias Unidas Peruano in Peru. Matured over at least 12 years in oak barrels from Slovenia. The colour is the one of dark mahogany and the rum shows a very mellow and rich flavour, slightly sweet with hints of vanilla, caramel and some exotic spices. The aftertaste is very clean, a bit sweet yet dry and pure. This rum we consider as being truly exceptional with Cuban cigars and without doubt a first class recommendation.
