The small cedar boxes with glas tops were a common gift used in the 1940’s and the very early 1950’s. Filled with cigars from the standard boxes they looked far better – and the glamour of these lovely boxes continues until today. This box is from the long forgotten pre-revolution cigar brand Artalejo. The box is stamped underneath with a unique stamp “Hechos (SIC!) en Cuba” – those days referring to the cigars in plural. A very rare piece.
